Quiz Meet Format Trek Team Multiple Choice Trek Team Huddle Journey Team Multiple Choice Journey Team Huddle Each team is given the opportunity to answer sixteen (16) Team Multiple Choice and Team Huddle questions. All questions will be taken from the current printing of the handbook/manual materials, with both KJ, NKJ & NIV versions accepted.

Trek Trek Check Current Year Lesson 1:1 – 1:12 No Trek Challenge Sections covered Journey Current Faith’s Foundations Current Main Study Bible Readings Book Summaries
Trek & Journey Quiz Teams A team consists of one (1) to four (4) young people. Each team member must quiz over the book they are in during the current Awana Club year. Registration Deadline: All entries must be postmarked no later than February 9, 2009. Late registrations will be accepted if space is available. Quizzing Registration Form. Team Registration Fee: Team registration fee is $20 per 1-4 member teams and must accompany the teams completed registration form. The fee is non-refundable! Upon receipt of your registration form you will be sent additional information that will assist you in preparing for the quiz meet. Please note: • No walk-on teams will be permitted. • All teams must be registered by February 9.
Quizzing Staff Needs To run Bible Quiz Meets we need people to volunteer to fill the following positions: Judge Panel, Timers and Scorekeepers. See the Official Rules and Regulations for Quizzing to get more information. Each church must provide two staff persons, other than a team coach, who will acquaint themselves with the quiz rules. Your registration form is not complete without this information.
Coaches All teams, coaches and staff personnel are to be registered and checked in ready to go 15 minutes before the team orientation and staff meeting. All team members, coaches and staff must follow the apparel (dress code) guidelines. Awana emphasizes the importance of modesty, neatness and cleanliness in apparel. All participants must wear their church official JV or Varsity Awana uniform. See page 11 of the current Quizzing Rules & Regulations booklet. Take advantage of this special opportunity to help your youth memorize the Word of God in a greater and more meaningful way. Even if you are unable to enter a team this year, why not bring a group from your club so they can see first hand what it’s like!
Coaches Meeting These meetings will be held at our fall conference this year. Send your coach to conference to help them get ready for your Bible Quiz meet.
